Floral Design

Wild + Sculptural + Local + Sustainable

For as long as I remember I have felt at home in the flowers. As a little girl my nose was perpetually yellow from face planting into every bloom I could get my hands on. Flowers have become a personal iconography of mine, from the irises of my grandmother’s garden to the fragrant vines from which my name derives.

As a designer I find myself drawn to color, texture and form rather than traditional “showy” blooms. As a lover of juxtaposition and sustainability, I make every effort to forage whenever possible, and source from local farms more often than not. I am also firmly committed to creating without the use of floral foam which is known to pollute our ecosystem with micro-plastics.
