ORGANIC FLORAL DESIGN

Flowers are always evocative, often nostalgic and utterly timeless. At JLC we relish any opportunity to engage with the natural world and design our flowers in collaboration with mother nature. We are inspired landscape, seasonality and storytelling, and consider each of our designs a harmonious reflection of those elements.

SUSTAINABILITY PLEDGE

We are firmly committed to creating as sustainably as possible. This means, in addition to composting and repurposing materials, we also work without the use of floral foam which is known to pollute our ecosystem with micro-plastics. We repurpose our floral mechanics as many times as we can (chicken wire, compostable Oshun pouches, rocks and more) and frequently reuse flowers if they can be kept fresh and in good shape. We employ a bi-weekly composing service to make sure that any green material finds its way back to the farmers we source our flowers from. When sourcing flowers we always consider what is seasonally available and purchase from local farms whenever possible. We are also big fans of ethical foraging and frequently dry flowers and foliage for later use.
